Bay Ridge Pool Membership

A. Charter Membership – Back in 1998 when the pool was being created and developed, 73 families paid about $5,000 each as seed money to help finance and back the pool development project. If you are a Charter member or have purchased one of these memberships via a transfer from a former resident, your membership to the pool is good through 2028. There are no annual dues and your only task each spring is to update your on-line information for your family names, ages, phone, e-mail, etc.   You are required to pay the annual BRCA dues.  You may list up to 20 family members for access to the pool under the holder of the Charter Membership. However, you may not list family members who live in Bay Ridge or Annapolis Cove.  Charter memberships are transferable with the proper form found on the pool website.

B. Regular Membership – Requires a one-time Pool Bond payment of $1,400 and annual dues to be paid each year. For 2019, annual dues are $455. A Regular Membership allows up to six (6) family members access and two free guests per day. Regular members must also go on-line to the website and update their family information each year – names, ages, e-mail, phone, etc. Pool bonds are transferable with the proper form found on the pool website.  You must also pay the annual BRCA dues.

C. Annual Membership – Residents can purchase an Annual Membership for $850 each pool season. This type of membership does not require a Pool bond and is paid each year. An Annual Membership allows up to six (6) family members and two free guests per day. Annual members must also go on-line and update their family information each year with names, ages, phone, e-mail, etc. Annual Memberships are not transferable and are paid annually.  You must also pay the annual BRCA dues.

D. Single Membership – The annual Single Membership is $320 for one member only. It allows for two free guests per day. It is not transferable and the Single member must update their information on-line each year with name, age, phone, e-mail, etc.  You must also pay the annual BRCA dues.

E. Senior Membership – We created a Senior Membership for $210 for residents over 70 years of age and for one person only. It allows access into the pool with two free guests per day and the senior must update their information each year on-line as well. The membership is not transferable and must be paid annually.  You must also pay the annual BRCA dues.

Once you’ve chosen your membership type you will need to make payment to the pool. All checks should be made payable to the BRPA (Bay Ridge Pool Association) by May 1st of each pool year. Checks should be mailed or dropped-off at the Bay Ridge Pool, 2 Herndon Ave., Annapolis, Md. 21403.
