70th Annual Jamboree!

Yup. You read it right. 70. This year marks our 70th Jamboree! Wow.

This is where memories are made for parents and children alike. And, like always, its open to all Bay Ridge neighbors, friends and family.

You’ll find a big tent, stringed globe lights and our traditional wooden booths—all nestled in the marina lawn during sunset..and on through the night.

There will be a tasty BBQ dinner, silent auction, drinks, music, dunk tank, water slide, pony rides, sports center, moon bounce, & games including: BINGO, Big Nine, Over/Under, children’s games & much more! This event is one of our community’s true summer hallmarks–come join us!

VOLUNTEER:

• Volunteers are needed all around—for games, food service, beer truck, ticket sales, gathering auction items, set up & clean up. Sign up online here! Donate a little of your time and you’ll be happy to have joined the fun.

DONATE:

• BINGO: NEW prizes are needed for children, teens and adults! Drop off from Aug 10th – 20th to Carol Josey at 104 River Drive.
• WHITE ELEPHANT: Items are needed! Drop off to Jessie Rhines at 11 Decatur Ave by August 22nd.
• SILENT AUCTION: Calling local businesses! We’re looking for donations that are awarded to the highest bidder at our silent auction. Some goodwill & some publicity. We’d love to have your ideas… (email Patrice below if you’ve got any!)
• BAKE SALE: We’d love your cupcakes, cookies and treats! If you’d like to bring something to the bake sale, please drop off at Rosie Miller’s the morning of the Jamboree (Saturday Aug 23) at 23 Lawrence Avenue (or you can bring them to the Jamboree, too). Please bring items not needing refrigeration, place cookies and bars in individual bags, & note clearly if your goody contains nuts!
