Fern Gully

FERN GULLY

Lying east of Herndon and south of Farragut Avenues, Fern Gully continues the Chestnut Oak Forest that extends across Herndon to Black Walnut Creek. Herndon Pond, which lies to the east of Herndon Avenue, is critical to wildlife as a source of fresh water and as a breeding location frogs and salamanders. This section, on both sides of Hull Avenue, boasts a fine variety of fern species.

As of March 5, 2019, all plots in Fern Gully were adopted.  This map will be updated as turnover occurs.
