We are fortunate to be supported annually by the Bay Ridge community, the swim team, and, again by the generous donation of our community member, Matt Trotta and CP Direct, Inc.
We are also fully and very importantly supported by many volunteers who make the event happen and keep our children safe.
We have many parents and several lifeguards in the water during the swim and have volunteers at every intersection along the bike and run to help ensure safety of the participants.
We also have a history or receiving very strong support from the Bay Ridge community in general. The event can cause brief delays in automotive traffic, especially along River Dr, and we appreciate the patience and understanding of all of our neighbors.
As indicated above, the event is free to participants, with one catch. Each family must supply at least one adult volunteer. This is a must to help ensure safety. Kevin Cline is our volunteer coordinator. He will be sending notes out to our usual list of volunteers. If you have not participated in the past, please contact Kevin at meorland@verizon.net to ensure you’re registered to help.
Please register in advance to ensure your/your child’s place on the entry and his/her official shirt size. REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN THROUGH WED 7/1! Go to the Bay Ridge Marlins website: http://www.bayridgemarlins.org/tri
