BRPA members may rent the Bay Ridge Pool and/or Clubhouse for parties and other special events. Please go to the BRPA events calendar to check availability.  To reserve a date, complete the Rental Agreement below and submit to Tracy Patton with a $200 Security Deposit to reserve your date.  Checks should be made payable to BRPA.  Questions?  Email Tracy with your question if not answered in the Rental Policy Guidelines below.  Email Tracy at BRPApoolreservations@gmail.com and leave specifics in your message.

Bay Ridge Pool & Clubhouse Rental Information

Thank you for your interest in renting the Bay Ridge Pool or Clubhouse. Below is everything you need to know about rental options, fees, and policies.

Who Can Rent

  • Members of the Bay Ridge Pool Association (BRPA)
  • Members of the Bay Ridge Community Association (BRCA) (clubhouse second-floor only; no pool access)
  • Non-members (with approval from the BRPA Board)

Rental Hours

  • General Rental Availability: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM (year-round)
  • Music must end by: 11:00 PM
  • Setup Time: Hosts may arrive up to 2 hours early

Pool Season

  • Memorial Day through Labor Day

Pool Hours

  • Monday–Thursday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Friday–Saturday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Poolside Parties (During Pool Hours)

  • Maximum Capacity: 40 people

Options:

  • Up to 20 people: $50
  • Up to 40 people: $100 (requires 2 BRPA sponsors)

After-Hours Pool Parties:

  • Same rental fee + $37.50/hour per lifeguard

Clubhouse Rentals

Capacity

  • During pool hours: Up to 40 people
  • After pool hours:
    • 187 standing
    • 83 seated

Note: Second-floor deck remains open to the public and cannot be rented.

Rental Fees (4-hour limit)

(Double fee for events longer than 4 hours)

BRPA Members

  • Sunday–Thursday: $375
  • Friday–Saturday: $425

BRCA Members (No Pool Access)

  • Sunday–Thursday: $575
  • Friday–Saturday: $625

Lifeguard required after pool hours (not included in pricing).

Special Event Rentals

Weddings / Large Events

  • Minimum: 2-day rental
  • Fee: $1,000 + lifeguard fees
  • Setup (per day): $225
  • Tents require pre-approval

Business Meetings

  • Clubhouse only
  • $400 (4 hours)

Multipurpose Gym Sessions

  • Monday–Thursday only
  • Must end by 4:00 PM
  • No high-impact classes
  • BRPA Members: $100
  • Non-members: $150

Exclusive Use (Off-Season)

  • Available Labor Day → Memorial Day
  • Contact Tracy Patton for pricing
  • No lifeguard required when pool is covered

Lifeguard Fees

  • $37.50 per lifeguard/hour
  • Required for:
    • All after-hours rentals
    • Any event near the pool

Staffing Requirements:

  • Under 40 guests: 1 lifeguard
  • Over 40 guests: Additional lifeguards required

Fees Summary

  • Cleaning Fee: $200 (included in rental price)
  • Security Deposit: $200 (refundable)

Cleaning Responsibilities

  • Remove all trash
  • Take down decorations
  • Return tables and chairs
  • Empty refrigerator

Available Equipment

  • 6 tables (3 × 3’x6’, 3 × 3’x8’)
  • 18 padded folding chairs
  • Balcony:
    • 3 rectangular tables
    • 18 armchairs

Rules & Reminders

  • No elevator access to second floor
  • No glass on pool deck
  • No cooking or open flames
  • Decorations: painter’s tape only
  • Keys must be returned within 24 hours
    • Drop-off: 1 Decatur Avenue (mailbox)
