And three, two, one… BOOM!

I know. There’s a lot going on right now. Lots of exclamation points, updates and calls to action. But! Its our high season and it doesn’t last long. When we’re sealed into hibernation with icy Nor’easters come February, we’ll have all these happy, spirited memories to keep us warm.

Let’s bring on the 4th, Bay Ridge!

Hands.

A few (key) spots remain to help us run the 4th! The food booths 1 & 2 (these aren’t grilling booths, just extra stations to help serve yummy grilled goodies to hungry folks!) and some help with water/soda. Thank you all for stepping up. Tomorrow will be fantastic–and not boiling hot! A bonus, for certain.

Seriously huge.

Did you know that our own BR neighbor, Duncan Bradbury, the owner of Grumps, is lovingly donating all the grilled goodies for our celebration tomorrow? He does this every year. Burgers, hot dogs, chicken.. and… this year they’re adding Boca burgers as a vegetarian option! Whoop! Hats off to you, kind sir, for feeding Bay Ridge lunch on the 4th!

Drumroll…the Bay Ridge jewel has been selected!

Zachary’s has made a custom pick for the raffle giveaway–and its gorgeous! Its called the ALOR bangle. Hints: diamonds. 18K white gold. Stainless steel nautical cable. Take a sneak peek here!

You should be getting a stack of raffle tickets today in your mailbox. They’re blue. They’re awesome. They will put you in the running for any of these incredible wins–prizes that range from boat service, house maintenance to gym memberships to booze and much more. Just drop your raffle tickets to 46 Decatur. Easy. Don’t even have to be there to win!

So, it may not be sunny today.

And that means its a great time to bake some tasty stuff! The Bake Sale will be accepting your sweet treats—cupcakes, cookies, cakes, pies, brownies, etc. tonight! Bring your confections to Jessie at 11 Decatur Ave by the evening. Should you prefer to drop off at the Bake Sale booth tomorrow during the picnic, that can work also.
