‘Down by the Bay’: a once-in-a-lifetime event.
It’s hard to believe—1999 marks the year our pool was opened. That’s 16 years of learning to swim. Friendships made. Birthdays celebrated. Races swum. Plans made. In short? Our pool has come to represent much more than a place to cool off—it’s where our communities’ spirits are truly nourished.
We now stand at a critical juncture. 16 years of use have taken its toll—the pool’s surface and tiles are in dire need of replacing—a costly endeavor. The costliest yet. Yet without it, our pool will not be sustainable or safe.
This is where it gets great. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening under the stars, in, on and around the pool—without water—to raise the necessary funds. Live music, fire pits, roasted oysters, incredible food, open bar and a live auction with some outstanding prizes. (Fancy a trip to the Bahamas, anyone?)
You truly don’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime event—and in doing so, help us renew our pool for more decades of community life and love.

Menu: Not your typical pool fare. We’re talking Mason’s famous lobster rolls, new england clam chowder, lobster bisque, arugula salad with grilled steak, oysters roasting over roaring fire pits lining the pool deck and more! We’ll wrap up dinner with homemade cupcakes from Capital Cakes and Cream. Open bar featuring two signature cocktails, wine, beer and spirits.
Live Music: We’re not messing around! Mad Planet is coming to the stage in Bay Ridge. Rock, reggae and funk band–they were great at last years’ ‘Bands in the Sand’.
Live / Silent Auction: We’re proud of our neighbors and local businesses–see how they’ve stepped up to support this effort. Raffle: Nab your tickets–$5 each or 5 for $20. Win your 2015 Membership Dues (credit up to $430.00)! Non-residents of Bay Ridge and Annapolis Cove are also eligible to win. In their case, they receive the $430.00 credit and eligibility to join the pool for the 2015 season.
