Time to shed winter. Literally!
We're coming out of hibernation, Bay Ridge! And its great. Time to shed the winter layers, sweep out the winter residue and gear up for spring. And guess what? That includes our wonderful woods which truly need a good shot of spring cleaning. Join the Forest Management Committee (FMC) Saturday morning, April 11, 9 a.m. -noon for a few hours of fresh air, removal of invasive species and stacking of downed limbs for shredding. Give our trees their best shot for growth & canopy-building…

Woods Work Day
Forest Management volunteers please assemble at Kass Park at 9:00 am. We will finish installing protection around 35 new trees (planted previous week) and perform additional needed woods maintenance. This is important forest work that cannot be not done by Adopt-a-Plot folks, and this is the last of the Woods Work Days scheduled in 2018.
