New Business:

  • Grahame reported on the survey of professional cleaning services that could be retained for post party weekend cleanup of the 2nd floor room. All cost about $90 to $100 for a one time cleaning. It was agreed to contact the person recommended by Trina to see if she was available and pass this cost information on to Carlene to be added to the rental documents.
  • Jeff reported he was picking up the repaired automatic pool cleaner this week.
  • A discussion of the close down process resulted in Paul taking the responsibility to contact Noel at DRD to arrange for DRD to take charge of accomplishing all regular maintenance and to specifically cover the following:
Drain water and repair damaged tiles
    Caulk the pool deck
    Store furniture in restrooms
Investigate warranty on newly replaced diving boards that are cracked and arrange for replacement
Add appropriate chemicals and cover the pools
  • Kurt meticulously reviewed the convoluted history of the dispute over final payment for work Frank Bussink claims he performed and was never paid for during the original construction. Jeff agreed to go back to Frank and renew the offer to review any documentation he can provide and bring to the Board a suggestion for resolution based on the documented claim Frank provides.
  • Jeff agreed to attend the BRCA meeting that was about to start and raise the question of repair of Isabel beach damage in front of the pool with the community association. The Pool board expressed serious concern over the vulnerability of the bank to another storm and the lack of a plan for action now one year later

Adjournment – The meeting adjourned at 7:58 PM.

Respectfully submitted:
Bill Cable, Secretary
