BRPA Home
The Bay Ridge Pool Association, Inc., owns the Bay Ridge pool on behalf of the community.
The Chesapeake Bay Foundation donated the 2.7 acre property, which includes 200 feet of beachfront, when the BRCA and CBF partnered to allow CBF to establish its regional headquarters on the site of the old Bay Ridge Inn and Pool, a historic 33-acre resort.
The grounds and beach access at 2 Herndon Avenue are open and available to all residents in Bay Ridge. But a portion of the property is leased to the BRPA under a long-term renewable lease that expires in 2098.
The BRPA is always seeking energetic volunteers to help maintain pool grounds and holds several “Pool Clean Up Days” in the spring to prepare for the summer season.

Meetings
The BRPA holds general membership meetings twice a year at the pool clubhouse at 7:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of May and November.
BRPA holds board meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the pool clubhouse. If you’d like to attend, please call a board member to confirm date, time and location.
